Role Overview
We are seeking a high-octane, strategic, and commercially relentless VP, Head of Demand Sales to lead our global revenue efforts from our New York headquarters. As the primary architect of our Demand growth strategy, you will hold full accountability for the expansion and health of our Demand book.
This role carries a global remit, overseeing high-performing teams across the United States, Canada, and the UK, with a mandate to scale our footprint into new international territories. You will be the direct line manager for our Demand Team leaders, including Directors, Senior Directors, and Executive Directors
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L Accountability: Own the global Demand revenue target, driving forecasting and delivering on aggressive quarterly and annual growth benchmarks.
- Deep Senior-Level Partnership: Maintain strong partner relationships with Account Management leadership and senior strategic stakeholders to ensure that Wunderkind’s client experience is world-class and growth-minded, end-to-end
- Leadership of Leaders: Provide direct management, mentorship, and strategic direction to a senior leadership layer. Responsible for professional development, quota setting, and performance management of Directors, Senior Directors & Executive Directors.
- Strategic Business Growth: Define and execute the sales playbook for a growth-minded Ads business, ensuring a consistent go-to-market strategy across the entire United States, Canada, the UK, and anywhere else in the world we enter!
- Global Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new international markets, leveraging our success in the US, Canada and the UK to further our global presence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure the ad-tech stack aligns with demand-side requirements and market trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 15 years directly relevant industry experience: the majority gained within the United States.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a formal management capacity. Strong preference for candidates who have managed other managers.
- Strategic Scope: Must have held a strategic role in a growth-minded Ads business with operations across the entire United States (not limited to NYC).
- Global Remit: Proven ability to manage global teams and revenue streams, particularly across the UK and Canada.
- CTV & Programmatic Media Expertise: Deep expertise across CTV, video, and emerging ad formats, with hands-on experience working with leading DSPs and platforms, including The Trade Desk, Google DV360, and Yahoo DSP.

The all-in compensation target for this role is $400,000.00 to $500,000.00, base plus variable. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
