Join Our Caring Dental Team as a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist
Our busy and well-established private family practice is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to become a valued member of our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and satisfaction at every visit. As we transition into a new chapter due to the retirement of one of our beloved hygienists, we are eager to welcome a dedicated professional with 2-3 years of experience who shares our commitment to high standards and a passion for dental hygiene. New RDH graduates with previous dental office experience should feel free to apply as well.
Responsibilities
In this part-time role, you will deliver high-quality preventive care to our family patient population — including children and adults — with one patient per hour, seven patients a day, to ensure thorough, unhurried appointments., Your primary clinical duties will include:
- Performing prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance cleanings
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation using the practice's dental software system using the practice's dental software system
- Providing personalized patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
You will be responsible for tasks such as:
- calculus removal
- dental charting
- fluoride treatment
- gingivitis screening and treatment
- scaling and root planing

With a typical setup of one patient at a time and an hour dedicated to each appointment, you can fully focus on delivering the best care possible. Please note- This role requires a shift on Monday, Tuesday and two Saturdays a month Sep. through May and one Saturday a month June through August from 8am to 12pm.

Requirements
Required
- Active Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing
- CPR
- 2–3 years of clinical dental hygiene experience
