Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Dental Assistant with 1+ years of experience to join us Monday through Friday. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional chairside support, handle digital and traditional impressions, assist with composite and amalgam procedures, and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures (composite, amalgam, cosmetic, implant)
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans
- Perform digital and traditional impression taking
- Sterilize and prepare instruments
- Coordinate patient care and maintain thorough charting
- Keep operatories clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Support front office and patient flow when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Dental Assistant Certification and CPR/BLS required
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Friendly, professional, fast learner with a positive attitude
