About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated Ortho Assistant with 1+ years of experience to join our growth-oriented orthodontic practice. In this position, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a friendly, positive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with banding and bracketing procedures
- Change and adjust archwires
- Place separators and polish teeth for bonding
- Take orthodontic records (photographs, impressions, digital scans)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Perform sterilization and infection control duties
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic assistant experience
- X-ray Certification required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
Compensation
- Hourly pay range: 18 – 26 per hour, based on experience
