Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of periodontal or surgical dental assisting experience
- Strong clinical chairside assisting skills with attention to detail
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to support all areas of the practice
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Outgoing and personable with strong patient-facing communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple surgical cases independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced periodontal surgical environment
- Team-oriented with a proactive, self-directed work style
Responsibilities
- Patient interactions
- Computer Skills
- Chair-side assisting
- Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms
- Sterilizing instruments
- Post-operative suture removal
- Follow-up calls to patients, post surgery
- Ordering, receiving and stocking supplies
Hours are Monday - Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
