Overview
Dental Works is an established general dentistry practice, and we are looking to hire another fun-loving and hardworking hygiene/dental assistant to join our team.
Requirements
Requirements for the position include:
- X-Ray Certification
- 1-2 years of experience
- Dentrix knowledge a plus
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
Your clinical and administrative duties will include:
- Chairside assisting with hygiene appointments and supporting the hygienist throughout patient visits
- Taking and processing digital radiographs
- Inputting and tracking treatment plans in Dentrix
- Turning over and maintaining clean, fully stocked operatories following infection control protocols
- Performing instrument sterilization per OSHA standards
- Providing chairside support for restorative overflow when the treatment schedule requires
- Assisting with patient education on home hygiene care
Office Hours
- Monday- 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday- 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday- 7:45 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday- 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM
- Some Fridays-7:45AM-3:00 PM
We offer a steady and consistent schedule working only 16 days a month Monday thru Thursday and some Fridays.
