Position Overview
Join our patient-centered dental practice as a dedicated Bilingual Dental Receptionist. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless administrative flow. Your expertise in dental terminology, insurance verification, and exceptional customer service will help us maintain a friendly, positive atmosphere where continuous learning is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix software applications
- Verify dental insurance coverage and process authorizations
- Coordinate treatment plans with clinical staff and communicate options to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information
- Handle phone inquiries, billing questions, and general administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a dental receptionist, treatment coordinator, or insurance verifier
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes
- Expert user of Dentrix software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Patient-centered mindset with a passion for delivering top-notch customer service
