Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, radiographs (X-rays), and oral health assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Provide periodontal maintenance and preventative treatments
- Monitor nitrous oxide and administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with continuing education standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional dental hygiene experience
- Valid state license and certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
