Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and works well in a collaborative environment. You will be a crucial part of our clinical team, responsible for managing the clinical areas of the practice and assisting the doctor and hygienists to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all clinical areas, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and prepared for procedures.
- Adhere to all OSHA and infection control protocols.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and sterilization processes.
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures.
- Take digital x-rays and iTero scans.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and hygienists.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all patients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years of dental assisting experience is preferred.
- An active and current Oregon Radiology Certification is required.
- Certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Oregon.
- Experience with iTero and Invisalign is a significant plus.
- Proficiency with Dentrix software is preferred.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday - Thursday
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $30 - $32 per hour, commensurate with experience.
