Savage X Fenty is currently looking for a Sr. Design Manager - Women’s Intimates, based in Los Angeles.
How Do You Fit In?
The Sr. Design Manager is responsible for the creation, execution and management of the Women’s Intimates category. Your aesthetic will provide direction that translates into designs that are clear, compelling & visually exciting. You’ll be able to clearly communicate creative ideas to leadership & stakeholders, plus collaborate, motivate & engage your team of designers/CAD designers. You will plan, manage & lead the team to ensure all calendar milestones are met, while building solid relationships with your cross functional team and be a trustworthy problem-solving partner, where you will deliver solutions that are timely and effective.
This position will report into the Sr. Design Director.

What you will do:
Design/Create:
- Pull inspiration tears, fabrics, trims to create mood boards at the start of each season to set the season’s direction.
- Be able to successfully communicate your design vision to other members of your team
- Stays abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in the lingerie space.
- Design & direct the development of Bras, Bralettes, undies, Lingerie & accessories that scream our Savage X Fenty aesthetic!
- Hand sketching and CAD skills a must
- Brainstorm and partner with Graphic/Print design team on print, graphic, hardware ideas & packaging, as needed.
- Travel to Asia, Europe as needed.
- Be able to confidently present Design ideas to leadership, as well as small and large groups.
- Innovate and partner with R&D teams on new fabric, trim, hardware, pad, wire development.
- Be an inspiring, energy-giving leader of the team. Be positive. Be proactive.
Team/Collaborate:
- Experience & proficiency in leading & managing a team
- Inspire, motivate & engage your team
- Partner with technical design & PD in the creation of tech packs as well as during fit sessions
- Partner with pattern maker, as needed on 1st prototypes.
- Work with sourcing team to execute high quality product within calendar timelines.
- Follow up on all pre-production details: color, fabric, and trim; to ensure consistent with brand aesthetic.
- Take ownership of projects from concept through production.
- Streamline and innovate processes to help make workflow more efficient.
- Prepare presentation material for seasonal meetings with Fenty & Leadership team.
Housekeeping:
- Ensure the Women’s Intimates linesheets are updated regularly, both digitally & physically.
- Help to schedule milestone meetings on the calendar
- Well-versed in PLM systems. Ensure meticulous management of all styles in PLM.
- Manage the Women’s Intimates team within the brand calendar, to ensure all major milestones are hit.
- Position is located in Los Angeles
Knowledge:
- Have a great knowledge of lingerie fabrications, especially laces & embroideries.
- Well-versed in Bra & undie fitting & be able to translate your vision & design aesthetic through fit & overall garment quality
- Been in a management role for 2+ years
What you can bring:
- 10+ years of design background with experience in Bra’s & Undies
- Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Incredibly creative and innovative with strong knowledge of the intimate’s market
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- A team player, you contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity. You are solutions driven and an efficiency advocate as well as having an all-hands-on deck mentality
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Detail oriented and organized.
- BFA/ BA in Fashion Design.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $105,300-$$150,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Savage X Fenty expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
