Fabletics is currently looking for a Real Estate Director.
How do you fit in?
As the Real Estate Director, you will support and assist in the acquisition of new retail sites, kiosk and other specialty leasing projects as may be required for Fabletics.
This position will report to the VP, Real Estate.
What you will do:
Manage and direct the acquisition of retail permanent store locations, pop-up retail store locations, kiosk locations as well as other special leasing projects.
Negotiate, manage and oversee the preparation of letters of intent, leases, license agreements and other legal documents required in the acquisition of real estate.
Travel in assigned areas.
Work with Fabletics outside legal counsel in reviewing lease agreements for new deals to ensure the salient business points of the lease conform with the negotiated LOI.
Support and assist the Lease Administrator in various matters pertaining to the real estate portfolio as well as retail activations, storage agreements and other property management issues that arise from time to time.
Coordinate activities, scheduling and communication with outside vendors, especially our architect team, as well as other in-house team members to ensure new location development flow through all aspects of pre-construction development.
Manage and monitor lease renewals on a regular basis to ensure decisions can be made in a timely and appropriate manner across our portfolio.
Assist the VP of Real Estate in managing the company’s real estate portfolio, including lease renewals, sales kick out negotiations, CAM issues, utility issues, co-tenancy requirements and landlord approvals for remodels and/or expansions in-line with budget expectations.
Review and analyze key metrics as they relate to store performance to determine effectiveness and scalability.
Frequent travel to scout markets and locations and to visit properties required.
Production goal of 8 to 12 news deals per year.
As a Director level in the organization, you are accountable for strategic projects, impacting overall achievement on department and broader business unit goals.
Frequently responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.
What you can bring:
10 years of previous real estate experience, preferably with a mall-based retailer.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate deals in-line with business goals and brand identity.
Must have strong knowledge of leases, contracts and letters of intent, with the ability to read and interpret lease language.
Ability to prioritize and anticipate issues; ability to handle multiple tasks.
Must have strong organizational skills, process management, timeline management along with acute attention to detail.
Extensive travel is required.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $113,100 - $155,600. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
