Head of Marketing – Growth-Focused SaaS Leader (Sustainability Reporting)

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to build and scale a high-performing marketing function; one that accelerates demand, strengthens our product positioning and supports our next phase of growth.
The Role
This is a player-coach leadership role; ideal for someone who loves balancing hands-on execution with strategic leadership. You will be responsible for owning and evolving our entire marketing function, with a core focus on growth marketing and product marketing, supported by vendors, contractors, and future team hires.
You will work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to shape the customer journey from awareness through adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Marketing & Demand Generation
- Own and execute multi-channel growth campaigns to drive qualified leads (SEO, paid, ABM, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Build and optimize the top-of-funnel and middle-of-funnel strategy to drive pipeline velocity and conversion
- Develop marketing automation workflows and lead scoring in CRM (e.g., HubSpot)
Product Marketing
- Craft positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with sustainability, compliance, procurement and finance personas
- Launch new features with clear GTM plans that align sales enablement and customer education
- Build and maintain competitive intelligence, buyer personas, and market insights
Brand & Content Strategy
- Oversee brand development and ensure consistency across all touchpoints
- Manage content roadmap (whitepapers, case studies, webinars, etc.) to support thought leadership and lead gen
- Collaborate with external content creators as needed
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead and mentor a small internal team and a network of freelancers or vendors (designers, PR, PPC)
- Own marketing budget and performance analytics
- Recruit and scale the team over time
You Bring
- 6+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with a focus on growth and product marketing
- Proven experience leading GTM for technical or regulatory-focused products (ideally sustainability, ESG, climate tech, or compliance-related)
- Exceptional written communication and storytelling ability
- Experience working in early-stage, fast-paced environments (Series A )
- Proficiency with marketing tech stack (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, Webflow, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation and iteration
- Leadership experience — even in flat or lean teams — with the ability to rally internal and external contributors
