Our fast-growing team in the Philippines is looking for an experienced Global Accounts Payable Team Lead to report to the Accounting Operations Manager and is responsible for managing a team of ten ensuring that our invoices are processed and paid to terms.
Global Accounts Payable Team Lead will be working with other finance team members worldwide to ensure that costs are booked in a timely accurate manner.
The role will check that Cloudpay suppliers are billing where applicable and will collaboratively work with the CloudPay global finance team.
Manage Accounts Payable Team
Manage AP mailbox & workloads for the team cross-cover.
Responsible for the recording of day-to-day Accounts Payable transactions of Supplier & Service partner billing for the Group across all regions EMEA, US and APAC.
Liaising with suppliers and internally wider finance operational teams on Service Partners & other CloudPay department to resolve queries efficiently and effectively.
Respond to queries on payment status of the invoices.
Help the AP team to enter invoices and supplier information, setting up new suppliers, new services in NetSuite
Ensure the Accounts payable accounting entries are accurate and that the Accounts payable and general ledgers are kept up to date for day-to-day transactions
Checking prices and volumes on invoices received from our worldwide Supplier & Service Partners are correctly receipted.
Act as the main point of contact for escalated AP issues.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Working with other finance team members to ensure that costs are billed on to CloudPay customers where applicable and revenue accrued at month end.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports for audits.
Generate regular reports on AP performance and metrics.
Any other adhoc requests as required
Note: this role follows a hybrid work arrangement, Monday to Friday 3PM to 12MN
Extensive experience with International Accounts Payable processing and processes.
Has an understanding of International VAT and US tax how it works across different countries.
Experience with Accounts payable and General Ledgers
People management - good experience managing small to medium-sized team
Staff Management and Development
Experience with NetSuite, an advantage
Excellent attention to detail and highly utilizing Excel in data reporting
Able to manage schedule or meeting deadlines
Understanding root cause analysis
Good communication skills and collaborating with support teams
Advanced excel
