We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing business, and work in the Costa Rica team, serving the US market. As a Business Development Representative at CloudPay, you’ll play a key role in driving our growth strategy by proactively building and nurturing relationships with potential customers. This role offers comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and exposure to various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include: • Collaborating with your assigned BDM's, to establish a strategy of success for their account list. • Focussing on ABM / ABX accounts based on our Customer Profile. • Identifying potential prospects and generating new business opportunities for CloudPay. • To set up initial appointments for the BDM's and follow up on leads. • Track progress towards meeting your goals. • Effective use of our CRM and outreach platform to manage leads and sales activities. • Engage with marketing on events and campaigns to drive successful outcomes. • Provide weekly updates to your BDR Team Leader about your progress and results. • Be a vocal advocate and contribute fully to team, sales and marketing meetings. • Be the data champion for your virtual team, updating and cleansing CRM data daily. • Embrace all tools and skills to deliver the required message to our prospects and customers. | |
Attributes and Experience Required: • A motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to building relationships. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with prospects. • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for engaging with the US market. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with prospects. • Eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt within a collaborative team environment. • Prior experience in sales, SDR / BDR or customer-facing roles, preferably within the HCM is a plus. • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills • Time management and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility and adaptability to change Preferred • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. #LI-AC1 #LI-HYBRID | |
